Ladies Night
Every 6 months during priesthood session of general conference my mom, erika, and I go to ladies night at deseret book. If you have never been you should seriously consider going next april. They have a drawing going on all night to win books, pictures, gift baskets, etc. There is also live entertainment and usually some snacks! This weekend my mom wasn't able to go because she was in Colorado. So my sister and I decided to go to keep the tradition alive and went over there just the two of us. She was sorely missed. We first went to forever 21 and both bought new winter jackets that we both needed, another tradition we just might add to the weekend! Then we headed over to ladies night. We didn't win a thing. Too bad. But we got over it quickly once we scarfed down some cafe rio with the boys. I love conference weekend :)

I made it.
The last five days were too stressful. The life of a college student, I guess you could say. I won't name all the things that were due in my school life (2 tests, a presentation.. dang, I couldn't resist) or the situation I encountered in my personal life (I really won't this time) or tell you how many times I cried (6, I think) but I will tell you how grateful I am for prayer and feeling my Heavenly Father's love. That's how I survived the last five days.

I miss my sis
As many of you know. My sister recently got married to the love of her life. As she is happily enjoying married life, I am left, well, missing her. You heard me. I just said that. I'm like a lost little kid without that girl. So if you've seen her, could you tell her to call me?

One year older.
Today is my parent's 11 year anniversary of tying the bonds of matrimony. 11 years ago today my dad accepted not only my mom as his wife, but my sister and I as his daughters. Not once in 11 years have I felt like he wasn't my own flesh and blood (other than the time he brought a 20 pound fish through the house on his finger and a hotdog in the other hand.. actually, come to think of it, that may just prove he IS my flesh and blood). Lucky us, and lucky him! He snagged an amazing women who I am proud to call my mother. So here's to you mom and dad! Hope your day is full of romance and love!

I'm not very good at all the ins and outs of blogging. Like how do you make a cool banner for the top of your page? Or make words big or make them move around the page? These types of questions leave me clueless and with a boring blog. But the question that has puzzled me the most is how to type the following sentence in my blog "to see this click here" and make the word "here" click-able. huh? Well I decided to figure it out for the sake of something I want you all to click on...
My step brother spencer and his wife erin are anxiously waiting to add a new child to their family through adoption. I cannot think of a more deserving family. The way they raise their children (milo & issy, so cute!) is nothing short of amazing. I hope that someday my kids will be as awesome as theirs are. Anyway- I just wanted to link their adoption site right here. Feel free to link it to your blog!

Down on Bended Knee!
No there was no proposal. Even better! I went to boys 2 men! Curtis and I and a few friends kicked it old school last night and boy was it memorable! Below is a few pictures I stole (thanks Lind!) from the event.
Me and Lindey with some awesome glow-in-the-dark bracelets. No outdoor concert would be complete without one.. or five.
Curtis and I posing for the camera.
Boys 2 Men at their finest!
